Suddenly when the unexpected occurs, we found ourselves with plenty of energy and spare time. So why not use time wisely to organize and clean our workspace?

Nothing better than finishing the week with some delicious sushi rolls prepared by Yamazakisan, celebrating the birthday of two of our staff’s Daito and Grace. And it was time to say goodbye as well for the end of her second winter season at Kamimura restaurant

Tradition, obligation? We don’t know. But we got a pleasant surprise receiving so many sweets in the valentine’s day.

Fun time!

In our very tiny kitchen, many things are going on every day: fun times, rushing, some stressful moments, times of good flow, but at the end of the day is good to see we are all trying to do the same thing: deliver an excellent experience for our guests.

Coffee time

Having some caffeine during the day is always an excellent idea; give us some extra boost, but it gets even better with some creativity.

Hungry

Some of the staff enjoy the morning on the slopes, others have been working from the morning, but the one thing we have in common: we are all hungry!So, here are a few more pictures from the family mealtime when everybody has a fortified meal, and we are getting prepared for excellent night service.

Family meal

The Kamimura and Kitchen staff are having the “family meal.” The number of members are increasing every year. It is almost full house just for our dinner time at Kitchen.

Tsuyoshi

Tsuyoshi is working at Kamimura Restaurant since 2008. He operated the Bistrot Kutchan Sakaba between 2014 to 2018 and now is the head chef of the Kitchen. He has a great focus on the details, ensuring high-quality flavors, textures, and presentation.

After a long briefing, the Kamimura Restaurant staff went straight to Kitchen. Acquiring some insight into the quality of food, some information about the wines and of course relaxing and having a good time.
